Zuzana Ferjenčíková is a Slovak organist, pianist and composer. She was educated from early childhood in alignment with the Russian piano tradition and pursued organ studies at the conservatory in Banská Bystrica and at the universities in Bratislava and Vienna. She has been influenced especially by the teaching of and collaboration with her Maître Jean Guillou (Paris). Holder of numerous prizes in international competitions, 2004 she was the first woman to be awarded the First Prize at the International Organ Improvisation Competition in Haarlem in the Netherlands.
From September 2021 she is appointed professor for organ at Codarts University in Rotterdam. She gives master-classes for improvisation and takes part in international organ competition juries and follows an intense concert and recording career.
As a performer, her focus lie in the Romantic period and the music of 20th century, in particular the oeuvre by Franz Liszt and Jean Guillou. As a composer, she writes concert pieces for organ, piano and various instrumental formations. She is author of numerous transcriptions of piano and orchestral works for organ.
She celebrated her debuts with great success in some of Europe’s most famous concert halls, such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg in 2024, the Konzerthaus Vienna in 2025, and the Berlin Philharmonie in 2025.

Organist
Christophe Mantoux, professor orgel aan het Pôle supérieur (PSPBB) en aan het Conservatoire régional de Paris, titulair organist van de kerk Saint-Séverin in Parijs, studeerde orgel en improvisatie bij Gaston Litaize, en harmonie en contrapunt aan het CNSM in Parijs. In 1984 won hij de Grand Prix voor interpretatie op het Internationale Orgelconcours van Chartres, waarna hij een internationale carrière als concertorganist begon die hem regelmatig naar Europa, de Verenigde Staten, Canada, Zuid-Amerika, Rusland, China, Zuid-Korea en Japan bracht. De vele authentieke instrumenten uit een breed scala aan orgelbouwtradities die hij bespeelt, voeden zijn denken als uitvoerend musicus en docent.
Van 1986 tot 1992 was hij titulair organist in de kathedraal van Chartres, naast Patrick Delabre, en van 1992 tot 2011 was hij professor orgel aan het Conservatoire de Strasbourg. Hij is lid van de Commission nationale des monuments historiques (sectie orgels) en wordt ook uitgenodigd als jurylid voor talrijke internationale wedstrijden en als docent voor masterclasses.
Aude Heurtematte studeerde achtereenvolgens bij Gaston Litaize, Jean Boyer en Odile Bailleux. Ze studeerde ook muziekgeschiedenis, esthetica en analyse aan het Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Parijs.
Aude Heurtematte is professor orgel aan het Conservatoire van Straatsburg. Daarnaast is ze in Parijs titulair organiste van het historische orgel uit de 17e en 18e eeuw van de kerk Saint-Gervais, een instrument dat bijna twee eeuwen lang door de familie Couperin werd bespeeld. Ze is ook titulair organiste van het orgel van de Billettes-kerk in Parijs.
Ze heeft een carrière als concertorganiste in Frankrijk en in het buitenland, geeft les aan verschillende academies die zich met name toeleggen op de Franse barokmuziek en is lid van jury’s van internationale wedstrijden.

Francisco Javier López, uit Ávila, is al meer dan 30 jaar organist van de kathedraal van Ávila. Hij studeerde muziek in Ávila en Madrid. Anselmo Serna en Miguel del Barco waren zijn orgelleraars, en hij breidde zijn opleiding uit met lessen bij Roberto Fresco, Montserrat Torrent, Andrés Cea, Lucía Riaño, Ángel de la Lama, Enrico Vicardi, Edwald Kooiman en Jean Claude Zender.
Als componist heeft hij werken in première gebracht in Duitsland, Italië en Mexico. Daarnaast is hij al even lang actief als concertorganist en heeft hij groepen opgericht die zich toeleggen op het herstel van historische muziek. Hij treedt op tijdens festivals in heel Spanje, Italië, Portugal, België en Mexico. Hij was docent aan de Universiteit van Salamanca en de Katholieke Universiteit van Ávila. Momenteel is hij docent muziektheorie aan het Conservatorium van Ávila in die stad. Daarnaast geeft hij les aan de Nationale Cursussen voor Liturgische Organisten in Valladolid.
Als enthousiast promotor van orgelmuziek heeft hij verschillende cd’s uitgebracht en zes programma’s voor verschillende televisiezenders opgenomen. Daarnaast coördineert hij de orgelfestivals van Ávila en werkt hij mee aan de organisatie van de evenementen die het Orgelfestival van Morelia in Spanje organiseert.

Dariusz Bąkowski-Kois graduated with honours from the Academy of Music in Kraków (2000) and completed postgraduate studies at the Frederic Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw and at the Vienna Conservatory (now Privatuniversität Wien). Since his studies he has maintained lively concert activity in Poland and abroad, including performances in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Italy, as well as in Mexico, Brasil, Russia and China. He has given recitals in such prestigious places as Hohe Domkirche Sankt Petrus zu Köln, Hohe Domkirche St. Peter zu Trier, Konstantin-Basilika (Aula Palatina) in Trier, Antwerpen O.L.V.-Kathedraal, Sint-Baafskathedraal Gent, Sint-Salvatorskathedraal Brugge, Dom aan Sint-Maarten van Utrecht, Kathedrale basiliek Sint-Bavo Haarlem, Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk Rotterdam, Grote of O.L.V. Breda, St. Mary’s Cathedral in Tallinn, Metropolitan Cathedral in Moscow or National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. He was a jury member in the international organ competitions in Rumia and Łódź, the Tariverdiew Competition in Hamburg, as well as in many national organ competitions. He also graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (1997), where in 2002 he received his Ph.D. at the Faculty of History. Since 1999 he has been teaching in the Organ Department of the Academy of Music in Kraków (since 2013 as full professor), leading classes in organ playing, chamber music and basso continuo. In 2014 he fulfilled postgraduate studies Master of Business Administration – University Management at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. At the Academy of Music in Kraków he was Vice Dean of the Instrumental Faculty (2008–12), Vice Rector (2012–16), and Head of Organ Department (2016–20).
Marcin Kucharczyk (b. 1998) has fulfilled his master studies (2022, with distinction) at The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy/University of Music in Krakow as a member of the organ class of Prof. Dr. Dariusz Bąkowski-Kois. He was studying also under the supervision of Prof. Wolfgang Zerer, Prof. Menno van Delft and Prof. Matthias Neumann at Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg (within the programm Erasmus+).
In his intense activity as a young organ virtuoso he has already gained several spectacular successes: he was the 1st prize winner at 5th Organ Competition of Tarnów Diocese (2017), awarded the 3rd prize at 6th Romuald Sroczyński in memoriam Organ Competition in Poznań (2018), as well 1st prize at 7th Bronisław Rutkowski Organ Competition in Krakow (2019). He was also a finalist of the 7th International Organ Competition in Dudelange/Luxemburg (2019), the 1st prize winner of the 32nd International Organ Competition in Rumia/Poland (2020) and also the 1st prize winner of the 11th Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck International Organ Competition in Gdańsk (2021). Participated in numerous masterclasses conducted by world-famous organists. He has performed in prestigious places in Poland and abroad, including Antwerpen O.L.V.-Kathedraal, Hohe Domkirche St. Peter zu Trier, Grote of Sint-Bavokerk in Haarlem, Basilica Papale di San Paolo fuori le Mura in Rome, Cathedral of Our Lady in Tallinn, St. Mary Basilica in Krakow, Pfare Basilica in Poznań, The Rubinstein Philarmonic in Łódź, Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk, as well as during important festivals in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Estonia, Lithuania, Italy and Hungary.
The lecturer of the Academy/University of Music in Krakow, where he is leading classes in organ playing as well as basso continuo and improvisation. In 2025 received a Doctor of Music degree.
